What the price does not cover
Hardware. poSell works with the barcode scanner, receipt printer and serial scale you already own. We do not sell hardware and you do not have to buy ours.
Card processing. poSell records how a sale was paid; it does not move the money. Card terminals stay with your bank or payment provider, and their fees are theirs.
Fiscal receipts. poSell is back-office sales and inventory software. Many countries require a certified fiscal device to issue the customer's legal receipt. Where that applies, the legal receipt has to come from that device, not from poSell.

Questions about the bill
How much does poSell cost?
poSell is free for 90 days with no credit card. After that it is 9 USD per store per month, or 90 USD per store per year, which is two months cheaper than paying monthly. Every plan is the full product; there is no cheaper tier with features removed.
Do I have to give a card to start the trial?
No. You sign up with your shop's name and an email address. Nothing is charged, and because there is no card on file nothing can be charged automatically when the trial ends.
What happens when the 90 days are up?
The register stops taking new sales until you pick a plan, and there is a short grace period on top. Your products, sales history and reports stay exactly where they are. Nothing is deleted. Picking a plan before the 90 days run out adds the new period to the days you still have rather than cancelling them, so buying early never costs you the rest of the trial.
Is there a per-transaction fee?
No. poSell does not take a cut of your sales and does not process card payments, so there is nothing to skim. You pay the same 9 USD at 10 sales a day and at 1,000.
How is a second store billed?
Per store. Each store gets its own subdomain and its own separate database, and each is 9 USD a month. Reports can be pulled per store or across all of them.
Can I change or cancel a plan?
Yes. There is no minimum term and no cancellation fee: monthly billing can be stopped at the end of any month, and you can move between monthly and yearly whenever you want. Renewals are handled by us directly today rather than through a self-service portal. Write to [email protected] and we will sort it out.
Do you offer a discount for annual payment?
Yes, in two ways. A year costs 90 USD instead of the 108 USD that twelve monthly payments add up to. And if you buy while your free trial is still running, the twelve months are added to the days you have left instead of replacing them: start the trial, buy in the first week, and you have about fifteen months before anything is due again. Wait until the trial has run out and the twelve months start from that day.
